Product Description
The drum soil separator machine is a heavy-duty, high-throughput screening equipment purpose-built for separating soil, gravel, clay lumps and granular aggregates in mining, construction demolition recycling and farmland soil restoration scenarios. It can handle large volumes of raw materials with high viscosity and moisture content, effectively removing impurities like stones, broken bricks and plant fibers while retaining qualified fine soil fractions. This machine works seamlessly with conveyor belts and feeding systems, serving as a core sorting unit in large-scale material processing lines.
Working Principle
Powered by a stable reduction drive system, the horizontally installed perforated metal drum rotates at a preset speed. After raw materials enter the drum from the feeding end, they are continuously lifted and dropped by the internal lifting blades as the drum turns. Fine soil particles pass through the mesh holes under gravity, while oversized materials move along the drum's inclined trajectory and are discharged from the dedicated tail outlet. The optimized drum rotation speed and blade angle ensure materials stay in the screening zone long enough to achieve thorough separation without causing unnecessary material breakage.
