Chemical resistance: Aramid packing has good chemical resistance, capable of resisting granular crystalline media and higher temperatures, making it suitable for a variety of chemical media including acids, alkalis, organic solvents, etc.
I. Product Introduction Aramid packing, also known as aramid fiber packing, is woven from high- DuPont aramid yarn. It can be used alone, impregnated with PTFE emulsion or graphite, or blended and woven with carbon fiber. Its tensile strength far exceeds that of ordinary graphite and packing. It is wear-resistant, erosion-resistant, and resistant to particle abrasion, making it a dedicated sealing filler for mining slurry pumps, reactors, and heavy-duty mixing. It is environmentally friendly, asbestos-free, and suitable for harsh high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions.
II. Common Classifications Pure Aramid Packing (White Fiber) Unimpregnated, clean and impurity-free, with high strength and high temperature resistance. Suitable for working conditions where medium contamination is not allowed, and for sealing weakly corrosive water hot oil, and ordinary slurries. PTFE-Impregnated Aramid Packing The surface is impregnated with PTFE emulsion, featuring a low coefficient of friction, resistance to strong and alkalis, and resistance to various chemical solvents. Its corrosion resistance is significantly enhanced, making it dedicated for chemical pumps. Aramid-Carbon Blended Packing Interwoven aramid and fibers combine the high strength and wear resistance of aramid with the thermal conductivity and heat dissipation advantages of carbon. Suitable for high-speed, high-temperature pumps, it is not to burning the shaft. Aramid Graphite-Impregnated Packing Equipped with a self-lubricating graphite layer, it offers excellent self-lubrication and shaft wear. Suitable for media containing sand and particles, and mining slurry equipment.
III. Core Product Advantages Ultra-high Strength and Tear Resistance Aramid fibers have strong tensile strength are resistant to pulling, and are not easily broken. They are not easily damaged by the erosion of sand and ore particles, with a service life far exceeding that of ordinary packing. Super Wear and Particle Resistance Specifically designed for media containing solid particles (mineral slurry, sand, sewage slurry), it has outstanding erosion resistance, solving the problem of ordinary packing being easily worn and leaking. High Temperature and High Pressure Resistance Long-term operating temperature ranges from -50°C to 280°C. It can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature steam, and thermal oil working conditions, maintaining stable sealing without softening. Corrosion Resistance and Aging Resistance The PTFE-impregnated version withstands acids alkalis, salt solutions, and chemical additives. It is not easily corroded or hardened, maintaining stable elasticity over long-term use. Low Friction and Shaft Protection PTFE/graphite impregnation provides self-lubrication, reducing shaft sleeve friction loss and lowering equipment maintenance frequency. Environmentally friendly and asbestos-free, safe and dust-free complying with industrial environmental protection production standards. Can be freely cut and supports processing into shaped packing rings, making installation simple.
