I. What is Carbon Packing? Carbon packing, also known as carbon fiber packing or carbon fiber braided packing, is a sealing filler made from-carbon pre-oxidized carbon fiber base yarn using a square braiding process. Most products are impregnated with graphite, PTFE emulsion, or silicone oil to enhance lubrication and anti-corrosion properties. It a universal shaft sealing material for industrial pumps, valves, and reactors, capable of replacing traditional asbestos packing, and is environmentally friendly and dust-free.

Main Material ClassificationsOrdinary Graphite Carbon Packing Carbon fiber braided graphite impregnated; features good self-lubrication, fast heat conduction and dissipation, and high cost-performance ratio. Suitable for clean water,, and ordinary steam pumps. Impregnated PTFE Carbon Packing (PTFE Carbon Packing) Surface impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion; resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, solvent corrosion; has a lower friction coefficient and does not damage the pump shaft. Specially designed for chemical engineering and corrosive media. Silicone-Oil-Free Carbon Packing No oil impregnation; will not contaminate oil, food, or heat transfer oil media. Suitable for food equipment, oil pumps, and heat transfer oil furnace seals. Aramid-Blended Packing Carbon fiber blended with aramid fibers; enhanced tensile strength and wear resistance. High-pressure sealing without leakage: The tight multi-layer braided structure offers good resilience and strong pressure-bearing capacity, ensuring no water or air leakage in steam and highpressure pumps. Environmentally friendly and asbestos-free: Contains no asbestos dust, complies with industrial environmental protection standards, is free of carcinogenic dust, and is safer for workshop use. installation and cuttable: Square braided rope can be cut and wrapped on-site, or processed into pre-formed packing rings, making installation simple.
