SMF Product Description
Basic Information
Melamine superplasticizer is abbreviated as SMF. As a high-end non-air-entraining efficient concrete dispersing additive, sulfonated melamine formaldehyde resin SMF features pure white color and high purity. Different from ordinary naphthalene-based products, SMF is the core material for white concrete and fair-faced decorative concrete. With excellent dispersion performance and zero chloride ions, melamine-based SMF avoids steel corrosion and surface efflorescence. High temperature resistant SMF adapts to steam-cured components and high-grade dry-mix mortar. With high cleanliness and high stability, SMF is the preferred additive for high-end decorative building materials and high-strength grouting projects.
Product Overview
Melamine high-efficiency superplasticizer SMF is pure white fine powder with excellent water solubility, dispersing rapidly without caking to prepare clear slurry. Through high-polymer electrostatic dispersion, SMF effectively breaks agglomerated cement and gypsum particles and greatly reduces mixing water consumption. Melamine SMF introduces extremely low air content, leaves no pore defects, retains the original color of base materials, and presents dense, bright and smooth concrete surface. With outstanding thermal stability, SMF maintains stable performance under high-temperature steam curing. It is widely used in self-leveling mortar, high-strength grout, fair-faced concrete and white precast components. SMF has excellent compatibility and can be compounded with various admixtures steadily.
Main Features
Pure white without discoloration: High-purity SMF avoids yellowing, graying and color difference problems, perfectly matching white decorative concrete and fair-faced surface projects.
Low air entrainment and high compactness: Melamine SMF hardly introduces extra bubbles, reduces pore defects significantly, and improves the density, hardness and wear resistance of concrete and grouting materials.
Stable high-temperature performance: Heat-resistant SMF keeps stable dispersion and water reduction under steam curing, ensuring uniform strength growth, low shrinkage and no cracking for mass precast production.
Safe and widely compatible: Chloride-free and low-alkali melamine SMF causes no steel corrosion. It mixes well with cement, gypsum and various cementitious materials, with stable dry-mix storage performance.
Application Methods
Fair-faced decorative concrete: Dry mix SMF evenly with cement, sand and stone before adding water. The low-air and high-cleanliness features of melamine SMF ensure pure white, pore-free and spotless concrete surface.
Steam-cured precast components: Add SMF during mixing to accelerate strength growth, shorten curing cycle and ensure stable size and smooth appearance of components.
Self-leveling and grouting materials: Mix SMF into dry powder system to improve slurry fluidity and flatness, reduce shrinkage, and form high-strength, crack-free and dense floor structure.
High-grade mortar compounding: SMF can be combined with early-strength agents and water retention agents to improve mortar workability and molding texture, suitable for high-end dry-mix building materials and decorative mortar production.
