Hydrogen Blending in Natural Gas（HBNG）
1. Working principle
The hydrogen blending device for natural gas safely and stably mixes a certain proportion of H2 into natural gas to form hydrogen-blended natural gas (HCNG). The control system can dynamically adjust the hydrogen blending ratio and measure it online, and precisely adjust the hydrogen blending amount by monitoring the hydrogen content percentage of the hydrogen-blended natural gas (HCNG). The entire process is closed-loop regulated through an automated control system, ensuring uniform mixing. Multiple safety mechanisms are adopted to prevent the risks of hydrogen leakage and explosion, ultimately output hydrogen-blended natural gas (HCNG) that meets application requirements.
Hydrogen blending in natural gas, with its multiple advantages in terms of environment, economy and technology, is moving from concept to large-scale application.
