1. Basic Information
GE IC660BBD101 is a classic Genius distributed discrete I/O module launched by GE Fanuc, fully compatible with GE Series 90-30/90-70 PLC systems. It is a 115VAC low-leakage mixed input/output unit, designed for remote on-site switch signal acquisition and logic control.

4. Working Principle
Power-on Initialization: The module completes hardware self-inspection, bus addressing and parameter loading after power-on, matches the upper PLC network address, and enters standby operation state.
On-site Signal Acquisition: 8 input channels collect 115VAC switch, limit and relay status signals in real time, and filter interference signals through configurable algorithms to complete signal shaping and locking.
Bus Data Uploading: Uploads on-site switch status, channel operating conditions and fault information to the main PLC through Genius bus, and receives remote control commands synchronously.
Output Load Driving: Drives 8 output channels to act according to PLC logic commands, controlling the start-stop of on-site AC loads such as solenoid valves and contactors to execute process logic.
Real-time Fault Protection: Monitors channel current, voltage, temperature and bus status in real time, locks faulty channels and triggers alarms when abnormalities occur to realize fault isolation.
