Aluminum expanded mesh (also known as aluminum sheet mesh, aluminum stretched mesh, and expanded metal mesh) is a mesh metal material formed by punching and stretching a whole aluminum sheet. (1) Construction precautions
1. Before installation, check the appearance of the aluminum veneer to confirm that there is no paint peeling, scratches, or deformation, and the size is consistent with the construction drawing to avoid rework after installation.
2. During installation, fix it firmly, keep the gaps uniform (the regular gap is 5 - 10mm), and reserve space for thermal expansion and contraction to prevent the board from deforming or cracking due to temperature changes.
3. Construction environment: Avoid construction on rainy days or windy days (wind force ≥ 5). Adjust the construction rhythm in high-temperature (≥ 35°C) or extremely cold (≤ -5°C) weather to prevent damage to the coating.
4. After installation, promptly clean the construction stains (such as cement and glue) on the surface of the board to prevent the stains from adhering for too long and being difficult to clean.
(2) Daily maintenance instructions
1. Regular cleaning: Clean outdoors every 3 - 6 months and indoors every 6 - 12 months. Wipe with clean water or a neutral detergent (such as dish soap). Avoid using strong acid or strong alkali detergents (which will corrode the coating).
2. Avoid collisions and scratches on the surface with sharp objects. If there are small scratches, contact the manufacturer for touch-up painting to prevent the scratches from expanding and rusting.
3. Regular inspection: Inspect the installation fasteners once a year. If they are loose, reinforce them in time. If the coating peels off or cracks, handle it promptly to extend the service life.
4. Special scenarios: In coastal areas, conduct an additional cleaning every 1 - 2 years to remove the salt on the surface and prevent corrosion. In heavy industrial areas, increase the cleaning frequency to avoid the adhesion of industrial exhaust gases.
(3) Common problems and solutions
Problem 1: There are stains on the surface that are difficult to clean? - Solution: Use warm water + a neutral detergent and wipe with a soft cloth. Do not use a hard brush (which will scratch the coating). Soak stubborn stains for a while and then wipe.
Problem 2: The board is slightly deformed? - Solution: Check if the installation gap is sufficient. If the gap is too small, adjust the fasteners to reserve space for thermal expansion and contraction. Replace the board if the deformation is severe.
Problem 3: Local paint peeling? - Solution: Contact the manufacturer in time and use special touch-up paint materials. Clean the loose coating before touch-up painting to ensure that the color and gloss of the touch-up paint are consistent with the original coating.

1. Fluorocarbon aluminum veneers are divided into "sprayed fluorocarbon" and "rolled fluorocarbon". For outdoor use, sprayed fluorocarbon is preferred (better weather resistance), while for indoor use, rolled fluorocarbon can be chosen (higher cost-effectiveness).
2. When customizing, you need to clearly inform the manufacturer of the usage scenario (outdoor/indoor), size, color, and thickness to avoid products that do not meet the actual usage requirements.
3. Choose a regular manufacturer to ensure the quality of the fluorocarbon coating and the substrate, and avoid low-cost and inferior products (prone to fading, paint peeling, and short service life).
