The glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) storage tank formed by spray winding has special corrosion resistance. When storing corrosive media, FRP shows its superiority that other materials cannot match. It can resist various acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents. It can be seen that the application of FRP is very common. However, the quality of FRP products depends on several factors such as raw materials and construction technology. The FRP spray lining process, as a new mechanized production process in China, has great advantages.
Advantages of spray molding:
1. The production efficiency is 4 - 8 times higher than that of hand lay - up.
2. The product has good integrity, no seams, high inter - laminar shear strength, high resin content, and good corrosion resistance and leakage resistance.
3. It can reduce the consumption of flash, cloth cutting scraps and residual glue.
4. The size and shape of the product are not limited.
5. The spraying machine can mix the catalyst and resin evenly in the spray pipe under hydraulic pressure before spraying. Therefore, there is no compressed air leakage during spraying, and the air pollution during spraying is less.
Production preparation:
1. Material preparation: The main raw materials are resin and untwisted glass fiber yarn.
2. Mold preparation: The preparation work includes cleaning, assembly and applying release agents, etc.
3. Spray molding equipment: The spray molding machines are divided into three types: pressure tank type, pump - supply type and comprehensive type.
