   1、Corrugated Flame Arrestor Core Forming and Winding MachineProcess: Vertical Uncoiler     Forming Part     Winding Machine

                     Vertical Uncoiler      Tension Detection Part        

The main equipment consists of a vertical uncoiler, a forming machine, a tension control and detection part, a winding machine, and an electrical system.

2、Description

First, place the steel strip on the first vertical forming steel strip uncoiler. Using a vertical uncoiler facilitates positioning and forming, and a passive uncoiling method is adopted. The steel strip is fed into the roll forming machine, and the forming machine is designed according to the sheet parameters and forming requirements. The forming machine actively feeds the formed steel strip into the winder. At the same time, the uncoiler of the isolation steel strip is passively uncoiled under the drive of the winder and enters the winder with the assistance of the tension detection device. The tension detection device mainly provides active tension for the steel strip and is additionally equipped with an encoder for detecting the length of the steel strip. The tensioning wheel has no power drive. The winder rotates under the drive of the motor reducer to achieve the pulling force on the intermediate steel strip. The equipment involves manual threading of the steel strip and the formed steel strip. Cutting and welding are both done manually. The servo motor and encoder are mainly used for speed matching and tension control of the uncoiler and winder.

3. Equipment configuration and structural description

3.1. Uncoiler 

This uncoiler is a single-head vertical drum, using a screw tightening structure for easy operation and corrugated formingAutomatic matching of speed, adopting passive unwinding, both starting and stopping are controlled by the forming mechanism, equipped with an electromagnetic tension unwinding mechanism.

3.2, Forming unit  

The function of this unit is to form the steel strip by rolling it once through the forming rollers, including the bed, reduction gearbox, electricityMachine,The forming part canbe adjusted according to the width of the steel strip. The corrugation form and height can be used to process products of different specifications by replacing the mold.

1) Production speed of the forming part:23 meters/minute (calculated based on the reference wheel diameter of Ф80); According to the speed of the winder, the forming speed can be 1~23 meters/minute for automatic matching

2)Rollers:The rollers are designed and processed according to the user's template size. The material is 42CrMo 

3.3,Tensioning device   

Tension detectionThe device adopts an independent installation method, and there is a pressing device at the discharge end.(It can operate under open-loop and closed-loop control).The tension can be set according to the width of the steel strip. The tension detection and tension control can achieve intelligent linear constant tension control, avoiding the unstable tension caused by the winding speed and the size of the outer circle.

This device is installedbehind the winder.Tension detectionThetensionforce of the device can overcome the gravity of the steel strip, and the feeding process is continuous without jamming.

3.4,RewindingMachineWindingMachine  

The rewinding machineis a single-head vertical disc. A rotary support and a transmission mechanism are installed under the disc. For convenient operation and automatic control, a servo motor needs to be used. The rewinding and winding process has the functions of end face leveling and outer diameter detection. The outer diameter size can be set to automatically stop the machine.

3.5. Electrical Control System

System Functions

The control system part uses PLC control. The PLC program has functions such as manual, automatic, detection, protection, and alarm, and can display the operating status of each unit, including: manual interface, automatic interface, parameter setting interface, operating interface, etc.

The control system has options for automatic, manual, forced, and idle cycle operation modes and an indication of the current operation mode.

Automatic operation (single cycle) mode: In the original position state, after an external workpiece is placed, the equipment automatically completes all action cycles by pressing the button, returns to the original position state, and gives a cycle completion indication signal (cylindrical indicator light), and the cycle stops. If a fault occurs during the automatic operation cycle of the equipment, after the fault is eliminated by manual means or other methods, the equipment can still be restarted at the stop position and complete the work of this automatic cycle.

Manual mode: All interlocks of the equipment are effective. Under the condition of ensuring no damage to the equipment and personnel, all movable devices of the equipment can be manually controlled to move separately. After selecting the moving device and the moving direction, when the execution button is pressed, the action starts and continues until the action is completed. For the equipment device that can be stopped midway, if the execution button is released before the action is completed, the action stops. Pressing the execution button again can continue the execution.

Empty cycle mode: The equipment can complete the continuous multi - cycle automatic operation of the entire control system without workpieces.

Actions, workpiece detection sensors, touch screens, alarm signals, communication with servo, and data collection are all controlled by the PLC control system.

The control cabinet is equipped with a control power switch, which uses a key - insertion type. Turning left cuts off the power, and the key can only be pulled out when turning left.

Photoelectric protection is set at the position where workpieces are manually loaded and unloaded. It is interlocked with the system. When the system is started, if someone enters the working area through the protection to load/unload workpieces, the system should immediately stop running and emit a light alarm signal.

An operating console with start and emergency stop control buttons is set at the manually - operated loading position.

There is 1 set of power sockets in the control cabinet. The sockets are: AC220V, 5A (shared by 3 - pin and 2 - pin).

The input/output of the PLC uses a DC24V switching power supply and is protected by an independent circuit breaker. The wiring color of the PLC input/output is different from that of the power line.
