Equivalent standards: GB E7015-D2; AWS E7015-D2
Description & Applications
Low-hydrogen type low-alloy high-strength steel electrode. Uses DC reverse polarity, suitable for all-position welding. When necessary, preheating and post-weld heat treatment (550–650°C) can be adopted. Mainly used for welding low-alloy high-strength steels such as 15MnMoV, 14MnMoVB, and 18MnMoNb. The welded structure can work in the as-welded or tempered condition.

Notes
1. Bake the electrode at 350–380°C for 1 hour before use, and use it immediately after baking.
2. Remove rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants from the workpiece before welding.
3. Use short arc during welding, and keep the arc length moderate.
