Description: a titanium-calcium type coated ultra-low carbon stainless steel electrode. Its weld metal has a very low carbon content, so it can resist intergranular corrosion caused by chromium carbide precipitation even when niobium and titanium stabilizers are not added. This electrode is suitable for both DC and AC power sources, with low spatter, excellent bead appearance, and good performance in all-position welding.

 

Application: Used for welding pressure-bearing structures made of matching-type stainless steel in synthetic fiber, petrochemical, and other equipment manufacturing, as well as pressure-bearing components made of clad steel and dissimilar steels.

Precautions:

 

1. Electrodes must be baked at 300–350℃ for 1 hour before use.

 

2. DC reverse polarity (DC⁺) is recommended whenever possible, as AC power results in shallower weld penetration.

 

3. Use the minimum possible welding current and maintain a short arc during welding; the weave width should not exceed 2.5 times the electrode diameter.

 

4. Remove oil, moisture, and other contaminants from the workpiece before welding.
