1.Product Overview
The pressure thermometer (KY-PGT) is a mechanical instrument that measures temperature by utilizing the thermal expansion principle of a sealed thermometric system. It features a robust construction, clear indication, and requires no external power source, making it particularly suitable for on-site temperature monitoring and as a temperature feedback component in automated control systems. With its all-stainless steel sensing components and reliable mechanical design, this product delivers outstanding stability and long service life in environments with neutral corrosive media.
2.Working Principle
The instrument operates based on the physical principle of thermal expansion and contraction. Changes in temperature cause the volume of the filling medium (liquid or gas) inside the temperature bulb to vary. This pressure change is transmitted through the capillary tube to the Bourdon tube, which undergoes corresponding elastic deformation. This movement drives the linkage and gear mechanism, ultimately causing the pointer to accurately indicate the measured temperature on the dial.
