Applications
The Square Cone Mixer is a versatile mixing machine developed by integrating the features of various mixer types. It is designed to fully comply with national GMP standards for pharmaceuticals, as well as other relevant industry regulations. It is particularly well-suited for mixing processes involving products with relatively uniform varieties and large batch sizes—such as the blending of solid preparations in the pharmaceutical, food, dairy, and chemical reagent industries.
Working Principle
Materials are introduced into the mixing vessel via manual loading, vacuum conveying, gravity feeding from an upper floor, or a dedicated lifting mechanism. The axis of symmetry of the hopper is positioned at an angle relative to the axis of rotation. As the machine rotates, the various material components within the sealed hopper undergo three-dimensional spatial motion, generating intense tumbling, diffusion, and contraction effects to achieve a highly effective mixing result.
Features
The machine features a novel overall design, a compact structure, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. It achieves a mixing uniformity of up to 99% and boasts a volumetric filling coefficient of 0.8. It operates with a low rotational height, runs smoothly, offers reliable performance, and is easy to operate. Both the inner and outer surfaces of the mixing vessel are mirror-polished; the design eliminates dead corners, facilitates easy discharge, and simplifies cleaning and maintenance. Furthermore, it prevents cross-contamination, thereby fully meeting the GMP requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
