The inner lining of this tumbler barrel is available in two materials: black rubber and PU, catering to different polishing requirements.
The black rubber lining incorporates polishing powder and metal powder during manufacturing, allowing for precipitation during the polishing process. This design offers two significant advantages: Firstly, it effectively protects the rubber structure, significantly extending its service life. Secondly, it increases the friction coefficient, thereby shortening polishing time. Consequently, the majority of customers opt for the black rubber-lined tumbler for more efficient and durable polishing results.
The PU rubber lining is crafted from imported raw materials using a direct mold-casting process onto the barrel body. Compared to traditional prefabricated and fitted linings, this method ensures stronger adhesion and a tighter fit. Validated by over two decades of market use, our factory's PU lining has zero reported cases of wear-related perforation under normal use, demonstrating stable and reliable quality.
The barrel structure is formed from a single steel plate, eliminating the need for welding and enhancing the machine's rigidity and durability. The motor bearing housing is equipped with a steel ring sleeve, which is more wear-resistant compared to traditional pure cast iron sleeves. The entire machine adopts a steel structure, making it lighter, more impact-resistant, and easier to repair than aluminum structures, while also offering superior effective load-bearing capacity.
This series is available in various other sizes: 14-inch, 16-inch, 18-inch, 20-inch, and 24-inch.

Xingxing Vibratory Tumbler / Polisher Instruction Manual
I. Equipment and Material Preparation
· Equipment Name: Vibratory Tumbler / Polisher
· Power Requirements: 1 unit (220V / 380V optional)
· Abrasive Media:
· Grinding Abrasive / Grit (Coarse): 180# - 320#
· Grinding Abrasive / Grit (Medium): 400# - 800#
· Polishing Abrasive: 303#
· Polishing Powder: A680
· Ceramic Media (used as grinding media or filler)
II. Working Principle
This machine primarily utilizes the principles of spiral rolling flow and three-dimensional vibration. Driven by the centrifugal force and tilting moment of an eccentric weight, it causes the container to produce periodic vibrations via springs. During the vibration process, the workpiece not only revolves around the center in a horizontal direction but also tumbles around the center of the container's ring. This compound motion creates continuous rolling and sliding friction between the workpiece and the polishing compound, thereby achieving high-speed, high-quality polishing results.
III. Operation Steps
· Step 1: Coarse Grinding
Place the workpieces and ceramic/media pellets (filling about 70%-80% of the barrel volume) into the tumbler. Add a small amount of water (just enough to dampen the media). Pour the coarse grinding abrasive (180#-320#; for softer materials, 400# can be used) into the tumbler. The recommended amount is about half a bowl (using a 10-inch tumbler as a reference). Run time is approximately 15 hours.
Note: Polishing duration and abrasive need to be adjusted according to the material, shape, size, and initial condition of the workpieces.
· Step 2: Medium Grinding
Thoroughly clean the workpieces from the previous step with clean water. Place the cleaned workpieces and media pellets back into the tumbler. Add a small amount of water. Pour in the medium grinding abrasive (600#-800#, about half a bowl). Run time is approximately 3-5 hours.
· Step 3: Fine Grinding / Pre-Polishing
Thoroughly clean the workpieces from the previous step with clean water. Place the workpieces and media pellets into the tumbler. Add a small amount of water. Pour in the 303# Polishing Abrasive (recommended amount about 100 grams). Run time is approximately 3-5 hours.
· Step 4: Final Polishing / Burnishing
Thoroughly clean the workpieces from the previous step with clean water. Place the workpieces and media pellets into the tumbler. Add a small amount of water. Pour in the Polishing Powder (recommended amount about 1-2 tablespoons). Run time is approximately 3-5 hours.
IV. Post-Treatment & Gloss Enhancement
After completing the above four steps, the basic polishing process is finished. To further enhance the gloss, choose one of the following methods based on requirements:
· Method 1 (Degreasing & Cleaning):
Briefly soak the workpieces in boiling white vinegar. Remove them promptly and wipe off any surface residue with a clean cloth.
· Method 2 (Dry Brightening):
Place Brazilian wax media (e.g., wax chips/beans) and dry bamboo chips (do not add water) into the tumbler. You can add the workpieces or pre-strung beads at the same time (a small amount of unmilled rice can also be added to assist polishing). Run time is approximately 3-5 hours.
Note: Bamboo chips must be cleaned and thoroughly dried before use. Used wax media and bamboo chips can be cleaned, dried, and reused.
This completes the entire polishing operation.
