1. Stone Preheating: Place the raw gemstone materials to be processed into an oven for uniform heating to remove internal moisture, preparing the stones for subsequent glue impregnation.
2. Glue Preparation: Mix the specialized potting resin and hardener according to the specified ratio. Heat the mixture to the recommended working temperature to reduce viscosity and improve fluidity.
3. Vacuum Impregnation: Place the preheated stones into the vacuum glue dispensing tank and immediately pour in the heated resin mixture. Start the vacuum pump to evacuate air and maintain the vacuum for a specific duration. Under the pressure difference inside and outside the tank, the resin is forced into and thoroughly fills the micro-cracks of the stones.
4. Surface Cleaning: After impregnation, remove the stones and quickly wipe away any residual resin from their surfaces to prevent hardening, which could affect subsequent processing.
5. Secondary Curing: Place the cleaned stones back into the oven for heat curing, allowing the resin that has filled the cracks to completely harden and set.
6. Cooling for Use: Allow the stones to cool naturally to room temperature before proceeding to subsequent processes such as cutting and polishing.
