Product Description
V4944B1042 is a member of Honeywell's V4944 series, which is renowned for its robust construction and outstanding reliability. The valve body is usually made of high-strength aluminum alloy by die-casting and undergoes special surface treatment, featuring excellent corrosion resistance. The internal seals are made of high-quality materials that are resistant to gas and aging (such as Viton® fluororubber), ensuring long-term sealing performance and service life.
This valve is of the "normally closed" type, which means that when it is not powered on, the valve core is tightly pressed against the valve seat under the action of the spring force, and the gas passage is completely cut off, ensuring absolute safety in the shutdown state. When the control system applies the rated voltage to the coil, the electromagnetic coil generates a strong magnetic force, which overcomes the spring force and fluid pressure, lifting the valve core and thus opening the channel to allow gas to pass through.
Its design usually includes a manual operation device (manual valve opening knob), which facilitates manual operation during commissioning, maintenance or emergency situations, increasing the flexibility of use.
