Seamless elbow is also called seamless steel pipe elbow English name seamless elbow or seamless pipe elbow, seamless elbow pipe fittings are divided into two types: hot-rolled (extruded) seamless elbow pipe fittings and cold-drawn (rolled) seamless elbow pipe fittings because of their different manufacturing processes.
Cold-drawn (rolled) pipes are divided into two types: round pipes and special-shaped pipes. The raw material for rolling seamless elbow pipe fittings is round tube blanks, which are cut and processed by the cutting machine to process billets with a length of about one meter, and are sent to the furnace for heating by conveyor belts. The billet is fed into a furnace to heat at a temperature of about 1200 degrees Celsius. The fuel is hydrogen or acetylene. Temperature control in the furnace is a key issue. After the round tube billet is released from the oven, it should be pierced by a pressure perforator. Generally, the more common perforator is the tapered roller perforator, which has high production efficiency, good product quality, large perforation expansion, and can thread a variety of pipe fittings. After perforation, the round tube billet is successively rolled by three rolls of oblique, continuous rolling or extruding. After extrusion, the pipe should be de-tubed and de-sized. The sizing machine rotates into the steel embryo at high speed through a tapered drill bit to make holes to form pipe fittings.
