Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel, Cold Drawn, Hot Pressed, Diameter, Reduced, Welded, Tee
Tees are pipe fittings used in pipeline systems for main pipe branch connections, with three ports (one inlet, two outlets or two inlets, one outlet) and are mainly used to change the direction of fluids.
Classification and material According to the pipe diameter, it is divided into equal diameter tee (the diameter of the branch pipe is the same as the main pipe) and reducing tee (the diameter of the branch pipe is smaller than the main pipe). Materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, plastic, etc., suitable for chemical, construction, petroleum and other fields.
Processing Process The manufacturing process mainly includes hydraulic expansion (suitable for mild steel pipes) and hot press forming (suitable for large diameter or thick-walled pipe fittings). Hydraulic expansion is formed by liquid pressure and mechanical extrusion, and hot press forming adopts radial compression process after heating.
Application scenarios are used at pipeline branches, such as chemical production, building water supply systems, etc., where the fluid flow direction needs to be changed.
