I.          VMC855 Vertical Machining Center Introduction and Uses

This product is a semi-closed-loop vertical machining center with three-axis servo direct-coupled control for the X , Y , and Z axes. All three axes use steel ball rolling linear guides, which have large load capacity, wide span, and high precision. The YZ direction uses 45MM heavy-duty linear guides, and the XZ direction uses 35MM heavy-duty linear guides. The structure and external dimensions are compact and reasonable. The spindle is driven by a servo motor through a synchronous belt. It can achieve one-time clamping of various complex parts such as discs, plates, housings, cams, and molds, and can complete various processes such as drilling, milling, boring, expanding, reaming, and rigid tapping. It is suitable for the production of multiple varieties and small to medium batch products, and can meet the processing requirements for complex and high-precision parts. It can be equipped with a fourth rotary axis to meet the processing requirements for special parts.

II.           Main Structural Features

1.        The main basic parts such as the base, slide, worktable, column, and spindle box are made of HT300 cast iron. The base has a box-type structure, and the compact and reasonable symmetrical rib structure ensures high rigidity and anti-bending and shock-absorbing performance of the basic parts. The A -type bridge-span column and the internal grid-like ribs effectively ensure the rigidity and precision during heavy cutting of the Z axis. The basic parts are made by resin sand molding and have undergone aging treatment, which provides a guarantee for the long-term stability of the machine tool's performance.

2.        X , Z guide rails are all heavy-duty linear ball guide rails from Taiwan, featuring high speed, high rigidity, low friction, low noise, and low temperature rise change. Coupled with automatic forced lubrication, it improves the accuracy and service life of the machine tool.

3、        Z direction is balanced with a counterweight to ensure smooth and stable movement of the spindle headstock. The Z-direction drive motor is equipped with a power-off brake device.

4、        X Y Z The three-direction feed adopts high-precision and high-strength inner-loop double-nut preloaded large-lead ball screws, with a high feed speed. The drive motor is directly connected to the screw through an elastic coupling. The feed servo motor directly transmits power to the high-precision ball screw without backlash, ensuring the positioning accuracy and synchronization of the machine tool.

5、        A high-speed, high-precision, and high-rigidity spindle unit is adopted, with strong axial and radial load-bearing capacity, and the rotational speed can reach 8000rpm .

6、        The spindle adopts a center air-blowing structure. When the spindle releases the tool, the inner taper of the spindle is quickly cleaned with high-pressure central air to ensure the accuracy and service life of tool clamping.

7、        X Y Z The guide rails and screws in the three directions are all equipped with protective devices to ensure the cleanliness of the screws and guide rails, and to guarantee the transmission, movement accuracy, and service life of the machine tool.

8、        The external protection of the machine tool adopts a full-protection structure design, which is easy to operate, safe and reliable, and aesthetically pleasing;

9、        It adopts a reliable centralized automatic lubrication device, which automatically lubricates each lubrication point of the machine tool intermittently at regular intervals and with a fixed amount. The lubrication time can be adjusted according to the working conditions;

10、    It uses 20-piece turret (optional) or 24-piece disc-type tool magazines (optional) produced by a professional manufacturer in Taiwan. The tool change is accurate, the time is short, and the efficiency is high. After millions of operation tests, it meets the reliability requirements. It has a damping structure, which can reduce the impact during movement and ensure the service life of the tool magazine. It is pneumatically driven, easy to use, and changes tools through the shortest path;

11、    It adopts an oil-water separation device, which can separate most of the collected lubricating oil from the coolant, prevent the rapid deterioration of the coolant, and is environmentally friendly;

12、    The machine tool operating system adopts the principle of ergonomics. The operation box is independently designed and can rotate by itself, which is convenient to operate.
