  2. Main Structure and Technical Features of the Machine Tool

  1. Base

  The rib shape of the base is optimally designed using solidworks software, enabling the machine tool to have high rigidity; the material is high-density cast iron, which has high strength and good shock absorption.

  2. Spindle

  The spindles of the machine tools in this series can be optionally equipped with A2-8/11/15 domestic or imported spindle units, or self-made spindle units. The self-made spindle units are designed with the currently advanced and mature international structure. The front support of the spindle consists of a double-row cylindrical roller bearing and a double-direction thrust angular contact bearing, and the rear support is a double-row cylindrical roller bearing; the bearings are imported precision spindle bearings, and the bearing lubrication uses imported high-speed grease. The axial and radial preloads of the spindle system can be adjusted with a nut, and it has high radial and axial stiffness. The radial clearance can be adjusted with the inner ring of the ball bearing, thereby achieving high machining accuracy and low operating temperature.

  3. Feed system

  The X-axis and Z-axis are driven by servo motors, which are directly connected to the ball screws through elastic couplings. The ball screws are installed with both ends fixed.

  The two-axis guides of VTC500/700/900/1200 are quenched hard rails, which have high wear resistance. The slide plates are treated with plastic coating, with small frictional resistance and low noise. The two-axis guides of VTC500L/700L/900L/1200L all use imported rolling guides. This type of guide is a four-direction equal-load type, with high precision and large load capacity. The balls are separated by cages to reduce frictional resistance, temperature rise and thermal deformation during rapid movement, thereby greatly improving machining accuracy, rapid traverse speed and production efficiency. Its outstanding advantages are small size, high precision and low maintenance cost. It is the configuration for users who pursue high precision and high cost performance, and is especially suitable for occasions in the automotive industry where high consistency of part dimensions is required.

  4. Tool post

  The tool post has a variety of configurations, and users can freely choose according to their actual needs and usage habits.

  Standard configuration: Yantai Global servo horizontal 8-station tool post. This series of tool posts is controlled by a servo motor for indexing, which can select tools bidirectionally and quickly, and is hydraulically locked with extremely high rigidity. Vertical 5/6-station servo tool post. This tool post has an excellent design structure and high rigidity. It uses servo technology for indexing and hydraulic locking. The indexing is smooth and accurate, and it is especially suitable for machining parts in the automotive industry.

  5. Chuck cylinder

  The standard chuck of this machine tool is a Taiwanese or domestic hydraulic chuck. This chuck is a waterproof chuck. There are sealing strips at the sliding fit between the jaw slide and the chuck body, which can effectively prevent the coolant from leaking into the spindle through the chuck and also prevent chips from entering the sliding surface and damaging the slide. There are 3 T-slots on the end face of the chuck, which makes it very convenient to replace various tooling fixtures. It has good rapid adaptability and can meet the requirements of users for machining a variety of parts. Imported hydraulic chucks and cylinders, domestic waterproof power chucks and Taiwanese cylinders can also be optionally configured.

  6. Protection

  This machine tool adopts full protection, and an automatic protective door can be optionally configured, which is convenient for forming an automatic production line and suitable for loading and unloading workpieces by robots.

  7. Hydraulic system and nitrogen balance system

  This machine tool is a CNC machine tool with a relatively high degree of automation and is equipped with a hydraulic system. In order to balance the load weight of the Z-axis, a balance cylinder is equipped. The main hydraulic control elements of the hydraulic system are all selected from well-known Taiwanese brands or high-quality domestic products. The hydraulic oil tank is placed on the right side of the base and is isolated from the outside by a protective cover. All the main hydraulic components are installed in a stacked manner, with a compact structure and convenient installation.

  8. Lubrication station

  The machine tool adopts a domestic centralized automatic lubrication system, and has functions of liquid level alarm and pressure alarm.

  9. Cooling system

  The cooling pump of this machine tool has a flow rate of 133L/min and a head of 40 meters. The cooling tank is separated from the main machine (the cooling water tank is installed behind the main machine) to ensure that the accuracy of the machine tool is not affected by cutting heat. An imported cooling pump is used. After the cooling water is drawn out by the cooling pump, it is divided into three paths through the water diverter: one path is connected to the cooling water port on the tool post and sprayed out through the tool holder nozzle to provide cooling and lubrication for the parts and tools, so as to ensure the machining accuracy of the workpiece and improve the service life of the tool; another path is connected to the water pipe on the left side base of the spindle to wash away the iron chips on the bed; the third path is connected to the water gun for cleaning the parts and the machine tool.

  10. Chip conveyor

  According to the different materials of the workpieces to be processed, this machine tool can be equipped with chain plate chip conveyors, scraper or magnetic scraper chip conveyors. The chain plate chip conveyor is suitable for collecting and conveying various coiled, clustered and blocky chips; the scraper chip conveyor is suitable for conveying chips of copper, aluminum, cast iron, etc.; the magnetic scraper chip conveyor is mainly used for conveying cast iron chips with a length less than 150 millimeters in wet and dry machining. All chip conveyors are automatic chip removal and can be controlled to start and stop by M commands.

  11. Electrical system

  11.1 CNC system and servo system

  The standard configuration of the machine tool's CNC system uses the Fanuc oi-Mate TD CNC system produced by Fanuc Company. This system can adapt to high-efficiency, high-speed and high-precision machining; and has the advantages of convenient operation, complete functions and high reliability.

  The two-servo-axis system is a high-precision digital servo system with a high-speed microprocessor and software servo control function, which can realize high-speed and high-precision servo control.

  11.2 Machine tool electrical system

  The electrical design of the machine tool complies with the GB5226.1-2002 electrical standard.

  The power circuits of the circuit all have overcurrent and short-circuit protection. The relevant actions of the machine tool all have corresponding interlocks to ensure the safety of the equipment and personnel. The electrical system has a self-diagnosis function. Operators and maintenance personnel can observe the operating status of each part of the machine tool at any time through the indicator lights and the display.

  The main electrical components of the machine tool are selected from imported products and products jointly produced by Chinese and foreign companies to ensure the safety and reliability of the machine tool.

CNC machine tools have strict requirements for power supply. When the grid voltage fluctuation exceeds AC380V±10% and the frequency exceeds 50Hz±1Hz, a power supply voltage stabilizer must be added; otherwise, the normal operation of the CNC machine tool will be affected.

11.3 Electrical cabinet

The standard configuration of the electrical cabinet adopts a fully enclosed structure and is equipped with an electrical box air conditioner to achieve the purpose of dust prevention and cooling. The protection level of the electrical cabinet is IP54, and a certain space is reserved inside the electrical cabinet for easy function expansion.

11.4 Others

The machine tool can be optionally equipped with other functional components such as grating scales according to user requirements.

2. Safety protection

This machine tool is protected by a full shield, and multiple safety protection measures are considered, such as safety locks for the electrical control cabinet, safety locks for the protective door, and the reinforced glass design of the protective door to ensure the safety of the machine and personnel.

When the machine tool encounters an external sudden power outage or its own fault, due to the special design of the control circuit, the machine tool axis cannot move. If the cooling motor, etc., is in the "start" state, it will enter the "stop" state; if it is in the "stop" state, it cannot enter the start state by itself, ensuring the safety of the machine tool. In addition, since the control program in the machine tool computer is "solidified" in the chip and the part machining program is protected by battery power supply, the program menu in the computer memory will not be lost in case of unexpected power outage or fault.

The machine tool is equipped with an alarm device and an emergency stop button to prevent various sudden faults from causing damage to the machine tool.

Due to the reasonable design of the software, the alarm can display text and alarm numbers on the display and be indicated by the indicator lights on the operation panel. The machine tool divides the alarm handling methods into three categories according to the situation: implement "emergency stop" for emergency alarms; implement "feed protection" for general alarms; only give "prompts" for operation errors.
