                                                    U-type MoSi2 Heating ElementProduct Description

The U-shaped MoSi2 heating element is designed to resemble the English letter "U," offering durability and reliability at high temperatures. It is most commonly used in a hanging configuration, with the bottom of the "U" facing downward. The element comprises two cold ends (Lu) and a single U-shaped hot end (Le). The cold end diameter is twice that of the hot end, connected via welding. The cold ends are metallized with aluminium to provide a low-resistance contact surface, with electrical connections facilitated by flat braided aluminium strips.

The U-type MoSi2 heating element is available in standard diameters of 3/6, 4/9, 9/18, and 12/24 mm, with customizable lengths: Lu from 150 to 1000 mm and Le from 150 to 1500 mm. The operating temperature ranges from 800°C to 1850°C, with a maximum capacity of up to 1900°C.
