The mold is made of platinum-cured liquid silicone rubber, with fine texture and easy demolding
Silicone rubber cures naturally at room temperature. Once fully cured, it can be removed from the mother mold and mold frame. The steps are as follows:
Curing wait
Room temperature curing: Place the mold frame on a flat and dust-free surface, avoid vibration, and wait for curing as per the instructions. (Addition-cured silicone rubber usually takes 4-6 hours to fully cure at room temperature of 25℃. If the temperature is too low, it can be extended to 8-12 hours.) If acceleration is required, it can be placed in a 60℃ oven, reducing the curing time to 1-2 hours. However, it is necessary to confirm the temperature resistance range of the silicone rubber in advance.
Curing judgment: Gently touch the surface of the silicone rubber with your finger. If it does not stick to your hand and there is no depression, it indicates that the curing is complete.
Demolding operation
First, remove the mold frame (if the mold frame is of the spliced type, disassemble it directly; If it is an integral box shape, gently bend the edge of the mold frame to separate the silicone rubber from the frame wall.
Slowly peel off from the edge of the silicone rubber and remove the master mold from the silicone rubber. (As silicone rubber has good elasticity, you can gently pull the edge of the mold to use its elasticity to separate the master mold from the mold. Complex shapes require patient operation to avoid damaging the mold details.)
