When making models with AB liquid skin-colored silicone rubber, the key lies in controlling the proportioning, mixing, degassing, injection/application, and curing steps. The finished products feature high simulation, good elasticity, and resistance to bending, making them suitable for making human part models, film and television props, figurines, etc
Injection/coating molding
Pouring method (suitable for hollow or three-dimensional models) : Slowly pour the deaerated silicone into the mold and let it flow along the inner wall of the mold to avoid re-introducing air bubbles. If the mold is deep, it can be injected in multiple times to prevent air bubbles from remaining.
Application method (suitable for thin layers, patches or mold flipping) : Use a scraper or brush to evenly apply the silicone on the inner wall of the mold. The thickness can be adjusted as needed. If thickening is required, a layer of glass fiber cloth can be laid in the middle to enhance toughness.
