  • Product Overview:
    The SCXI-1001 can accommodate up to 12 SCXI modules, enabling synchronization and communication between modules via an internal bus. It supports various signal conditioning functions, including analog input/output, digital input/output, and counter/timer operations. As a central component of the SCXI system, it provides power, communication interfaces, and module expansion capabilities, while handling timing, triggering, and signal routing tasks.

  • Installation Methods:
    • Unpacking and Inspection: Remove the chassis, modules, and accessories from the packaging, and check for looseness or damage.

    • Chassis Installation: When installing, read the documentation provided with the chassis before opening the instrument enclosure or connecting/disconnecting signal lines. Take necessary anti-static measures before installation (e.g., ensuring proper grounding of the human body). For addressable chassis, set the chassis address, ensuring the software address matches the hardware address. Confirm correct power settings (100, 120, 220, or 240V AC) and connect the power cord.

    • Module Installation: Ensure the chassis is powered off, as SCXI modules are not hot-swappable. After discharging static electricity by touching a metal part of the computer, insert the module into the SCXI slot, tighten the two screws on the module's front panel to secure the device to the chassis front mounting slot.
