Functional CharacteristicsPlug-and-Play and Convenient Programming

Designed based on the PCI bus, leveraging the plug-and-play feature of Microsoft Windows 95 OS (mid-1990s), it can be easily added to computer systems with minimal programming and setup. This enables quick integration of motion control functions into computer systems.

Fieldbus Support

The production system is centered around fieldbus design, supporting Foundation Fieldbus H1 and PROFIBUS PA. It uses the "Manchester Bus Powered" (MBP) physical layer, compliant with IEC61158-2 Type 1, enabling remote power feeding for devices. Suitable for intrinsically safe devices in potentially explosive environments, it adapts well to communication needs in complex industrial settings.

Multiple Motion Control Functions

Capable of achieving multi-axis coordinated control for multiple servo motors, with functions including pulse output, pulse counting, digital input/output, and D/A output. It can generate continuous high-frequency pulse trains, controlling motor speed by adjusting pulse frequency and position by adjusting pulse quantity. Pulse output modes include pulse/direction and pulse/pulse. Pulse counting supports encoder position feedback, while digital I/O points can be used for limit switches, home switches, etc. It also supports linear and circular interpolation, multi-axis linkage, and other functions to meet complex motion control scenarios.

High-Reliability Design

The TRICONEX system adheres to IEC61508/61511 standards and employs a Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) fault-tolerant control system. As a module of this system, the 2551 benefits from this high-reliability design, ensuring stable operation in industries with extreme reliability requirements, such as petrochemical, refining, and power sectors, reducing production interruptions caused by failures.
