GE IC697CMM742 Ethernet Interface Module
Functional characteristics:
Multiple network connection methods: Equipped with three network ports of 10Base-T (RJ-45), 10Base2 (BNC) and AUI, it can directly connect to the 10Base-T or 10Base2 network, through the AUI port and using compatible transceivers. It can also be connected to media such as 10Base5, 10BaseF or 10Broad36.
Support multiple communication protocols: Supports IEEE 802.2 logical Link Control Class I local area network and IEEE 802.3 medium (CSMA/CD medium access control, 10Mbps) local area network, provides Ethernet Global Data (EGD) for configuration and logic-based data exchange, and provides TCP/IP communication through SRTP.
Programming and configuration functions: It can be configured using IC641 programming software (version 6.02 and later), featuring complete PLC programming and configuration capabilities. Before installation, the 12-bit default station address of the printed label on the module needs to be recorded. During installation, first turn off the power of the PLC rack, insert the module and fix it with screws, then connect it to the network through one of the three ports.
