Product Description
Silica powder, also known as microsilica powder, scientifically known as silica ash, is the smoke that escapes with the exhaust gas during the high-temperature smelting of industrial silicon and ferrosilicon in industrial electric furnaces, and is collected and processed by special capture devices. In the escaping smoke, the SiO2 content accounts for about 90% of the total smoke, and the particle size is very small, and the average particle size is almost nanometer level, so it is called silica powder.
Product Features
1. Good insulation: Due to the high purity, low impurity content, stable performance and excellent electrical insulation performance of silica powder, the cured product has good insulation and arc resistance.
2. It can reduce the exothermic peak temperature of the epoxy resin curing reaction, reduce the linear expansion coefficient and shrinkage rate of the cured product, thereby eliminating the internal stress of the cured product and preventing cracking.
3. Corrosion resistance: Silicon micropowder is not easy to react with other substances, and does not react chemically with most acids and alkalis. Its particles are evenly covered on the surface of the object and have strong corrosion resistance.
4. Reasonable particle size distribution can reduce and eliminate precipitation and stratification during use; it can enhance the tensile and compressive strength of the solidified material, improve wear resistance, increase the thermal conductivity of the solidified material, and increase flame retardancy.
5. Silicon micropowder treated with silane coupling agent has good wettability for various resins, good adsorption performance, easy mixing, and no agglomeration.
6. Silicon micropowder is added to organic resin as a filler, which not only improves the performance of the solidified material, but also reduces the product cost.
