Purpose and effect of Teflon coating on roller surface
The purpose of coating the roller surface with Teflon (PTFE) is to give the roller a series of special physical and chemical properties. These properties include excellent non-viscosity, high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, moisture resistance and wear resistance. The Teflon coating reduces the adhesion between the roller and the processed material, facilitating cleaning and maintenance, while protecting the roller from chemical attack and extending its service life.
