ISO 12952-1 Flame Retardant Test Standard for Bedding – Test Scope:

This part of ISO 12952 applies to bedding item, which can normally be placed on a mattresses,foe example: mattress covers, underlays, incontinence sheets and pads, sheets, blankets, electric blankets, quilts (duvets) and covers, pillows (whatever the filling) and bolsters, pillowcases.

This part of ISO 12952 does not apply to mattresses,bed bases and mattress pads.

ISO 12952-1 Flame Retardant Test Standard for Bedding - Test Methods:

For testing,a draught-free environment having a temperature of 10℃ to 30℃ and a relative humidity of 15% to 80% shall be used.Specimens shall b tested within 10min of removing them from the conditioning atmosphere.
