EN 13162 CE Marking – Product Scope：

This European Standard specifies the requirements for factory made mineral wool products, with or without facings or coatings, which are used for the thermal insulation of buildings. The products are manufactured in the mat blankets, boards or slabs.

Products covered by this standard are also used in prefabricated thermal insulation systems and composite panels;

EN 13162 CE Marking – Certification Process：

1. Determine thetype of products to be certified and submit the application

2. Confirm theEuropean Product Directive, mineralwool must comply with the new EU building Productsregulation CPR 305/2011/EU

3.Determine theEuropean harmonized standard, mineralwool must comply with harmonized standard EN 13162

4. According to theCPR directive and harmonized standard EN 13162 for the evaluation of the test,the European Union certification body in accordance with the certificationsystem 3 test certification

5.Obtain the report or/and certificate awarded by EU Notified Body

6.Sign the DOP document "Declaration of Performance"

7.Affix "CE Mark" on the product

8.Trade in European market freely
