Flexible Graphite Foil characteristics:

1. Has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance. Flexible graphite from ultra-low temperature - 270 degrees to 3650 degrees (in the non oxidizing gas of high) temperature, its physical properties have little change, in the air can also be used to around 450 degrees;

2. Have excellent resistance to chemical corrosion. In addition to flexible graphite in aqua regia, concentrated nitric acid, sulfuric acid and high temperature dichromate, potassium permanganate, ferric chloride and other strong oxidizing medium have corrosion, almost all of inorganic and organic medium corrosion resistance;

3. Good self-lubrication. Flexible graphite, like natural graphite, interlayer under the action of external force, prone to slip, thus has lubricity, has good wearing resistance, small friction coefficient;

4. High resilient rate. When the shaft or shaft sleeve by manufacture, installation, eccentric radial round beats, with sufficient floating performance, even if the crack of graphite, can very good seal, so that post close tightly, to prevent leakage.

5. Expanded graphite gaskets to the flange surface requirement is not high, the smaller the pre-tightening force can achieve sealing effect, cutting easy gasket is a more economical and practical.
