Application information

SMC Features and Advantages VOK®- P 9085 was developed for low profile and Class A surface systems. The additive can stabilize the composite and improve the flowability. VOK®- P 9085 can completely replace traditional release agent products. VOK®- P 9085 can improve the surface quality of molded products. It also improves the adhesion of paint and the adhesion of molded parts.

Application field

VOK®- P 9085 is recommended for low profile and Class A surface composites.

Special attention

VOK®- P 9085 has influence on thickening effect. Compared with zinc stearate/calcium stearate system, it may be necessary to add an additional 10% of magnesium oxide to obtain a considerable thickening effect.

Recommended dosage

5-6 phr additive (supply form) to the total amount of resin. Good dosage shall be determined by a series of tests.

Addition method and processing guidance

Add the UP resin and LP components after mixing evenly and stirring. The traditional release agent products in the formula should be removed.
