A reactive polymer coupling agent is used to improve the mechanical properties of the acrylate system filled with ATH (aluminum hydroxide). It can also improve the anti settlement performance.

Product features and advantages

VOK®- C 8002 increases mechanical properties such as bending strength, compressive strength and elastic modulus by up to 30%. The additive can also improve the anti settling performance of the formula. Recommended for amphoteric or alkaline fillers such as aluminum hydroxide (ATH) filled acrylate resin (polymethyl methacrylate dissolved in methyl methacrylate).

In the test formula, the additive has no adverse effect on heat water resistance and weather resistance.

Recommended dosage

0.1-0.5% dosage of additives (purchased form) is based on filler.

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and good dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

Under the condition of continuous stirring, the additive can be added at any stage in the resin production process.
