German technical background VOK ®- Disper W969 Wetting Dispersant
VOK ®- Disper W969 is used as a wetting and dispersing agent to reduce the viscosity of mineral filling system in amine promoted unsaturated polyester, vinyl polyester and polyurethane resin systems and adhesives. Because it contains hydroxyl functional groups, it can be combined into the polymer body. It is not applicable to cobalt promoted unsaturated polyester resin.

VOK ®- Disper W969 is a kind of deflocculating, wetting and dispersing agent for mineral filled amine promoted polyester putty formula and monofunctional groups in epoxy, acrylic and polyurethane resins. It can improve the wetting and dispersion speed of filler in the dispersion process, reduce the viscosity and increase the filler content. Higher filler content can improve the sandability of polyester putty formulation after construction and curing. The additive can well increase the gel time in the cobalt promoted unsaturated polyester resin. It is suitable for various polyurethane resin filling systems. VOK ®- Disper W969 can be combined into the polymer body, so it is suitable for polyurethane resin systems (such as automotive applications) that can cope with more demanding fog and emission environments.
Recommended dosage
Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on filler:
Formula of unsaturated polyester putty: 0.5-1.5%
Polyurethane resin system: 0.5-2%
Epoxy system: 0.5-2%
Acrylate system: 0.5-2%
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, the additive should be added before adding solids.

VOK ®- Disper W969 is a mono functional deflocculating, wetting and dispersing agent, which is particularly suitable for filled polyurethane systems. The hydroxyl functional group contained in it enables it to combine with the main resin, so it is particularly suitable for systems that can cope with more demanding fog and emission environments (such as automotive applications). VOK ®- Disper W969 is a wetting and dispersing agent for mineral filled polyurethane and epoxy adhesives. It can improve the wetting and dispersion speed of filler in the dispersion process, reduce the viscosity and increase the filler content.
Recommended dosage
0.5-1% of auxiliary dosage (purchased form) is based on filler.
