German technical background VOK ®- Disper 2150 Wetting Dispersant
It is used as a wetting and dispersing agent for solvent based paint systems and resin containing pigment concentrates with extensive compatibility. Especially, it has good compatibility with thermoplastic acrylic acid (TPA) and nitrocellulose systems.

Storage and transportation
Mix well before use. During storage and transportation, stratification or turbidity may occur, which shall be heated to 30-60 ° C and fully mixed.
Special reminder
When used for white baking varnish, VOK shall be tested first ®- Does Dispatch 2150 cause yellowing. VOK is recommended if there is yellowing ®- Dispatch 180 to stabilize titanium dioxide.

Product features and advantages
The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance, and it also makes the pigment particles have charges of the same nature. The resulting repulsive effect and steric stabilization prevent the pigment from thickening, thus eliminating the problem of floating color and blooming in the system containing multiple pigments.
Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can obtain high gloss and enhance color strength. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments can also be improved. As the viscosity decreases, the leveling performance is improved, and the addition amount of pigment can be increased.
Recommended use
VOK ®- Disper 2150 has excellent compatibility with all conventional solvent based paint substrates, especially with thermoplastic acrylic acid (TPA) and nitrocellulose systems. The additive is especially recommended for the production of pigment concentrate containing resin. Because it can greatly reduce the viscosity of the abrasive, the pigment content in the color paste can be increased. The additive can also be used for the co grinding of pigments in solvent based coatings.
Recommended dosage
The amount of additives (purchase form) is based on:
Inorganic pigment: 10-15%
Titanium dioxide: 3-5%
Organic pigment: 30-60%
Carbon black: 60-140%
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, additives must be added to the grinding material first, and then the pigment. Pre mix the resin and solvent components in the abrasive, and then slowly add the auxiliary agent in the state of stirring. Pigments can only be added after the auxiliaries have been completely dispersed and uniform.
