German technical background VOK ®- Disper W940 Wetting Dispersant
VOK ®- Disper W940 is used as a wetting and dispersing agent for dispersing mineral fillers in unsaturated resin systems and adhesives. The additive can prevent floating color, blooming and settling of pigments and fillers in epoxy and vinyl/unsaturated polyester laminates. It can also reduce the floating color of colored pigment in gel coat.

VOK ®- Disper W940 is a wetting and dispersing agent for mineral fillers and inorganic and organic pigments. It can stabilize the solid particles in the resin system, prevent the settlement of filler and the floating color of pigment. VOK ®- Disper W940 is mainly used for color paste and gel coat using unsaturated polyester resin.
Recommended dosage
Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on solid:
Inorganic pigment: 0.5-3%
Organic pigment: 2.5-5%
Filler: 0.5-1.5%
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, the additive should be added before adding solids.

Product features and advantages
VOK ®- Disper W940 is a wetting and dispersing agent for mineral fillers and inorganic and organic pigments. VOK ®- Disper W940 is recommended for epoxy and polyester adhesive systems. The additive contains polysiloxane copolymer, which can reduce floating color and blooming.
