Product Information
Chemical composition
Hydroxyl functional carboxylate containing pigment affinity group.
Typical Physicochemical Data
The data given in this data page are only typical values, not technical indicators of the product.
Amine value: 71 mg KOH/g
Density (20 ° C): 0.94 g/ml
Application field
Paint and printing ink
Features and Benefits
The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance. Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can obtain high gloss and improve color intensity. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigments and the hiding power of opaque pigments are also improved. Due to the reduction of viscosity, the flowability is improved and the content of pigment can be increased.
Recommended use
VOK ®- Dispatch 108 is VOK ®- Due to its solvent-free variety, Disper 107 is especially suitable for the production of high solids and aromatic free architectural coatings without floating color/blooming. It can also be used in industrial coatings, leather coatings and printing inks (for intaglio, flexographic and screen printing). VOK ®- Disper 108 is also recommended for the production of solvent based pigment concentrates in the following fields.
Architectural coatings
Industrial coatings
Leather coating
Printing ink
Recommended dosage
The amount of additives (purchase form) is based on.
Inorganic pigment: 3-5%
Titanium dioxide: 0.8-1.5%
Organic pigment: 5-8%
Carbon black: 8-10%
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, additives must be added to the grinding material first, and then the pigment.
