German technical background VOK ®- Disper 112 Wetting Dispersant
Polymer wetting and dispersing aids for solvent based systems
This kind of assistant can make pigment deflocculate through steric stabilization. Because of the small particle size of the deflocculating pigment, it can achieve high luster and improve the tinting power. In addition, the transparency of transparent pigment and the hiding power of opaque pigment are increased. Because this product can reduce the viscosity, it can improve the leveling and may reach a higher pigment content.
Chemical composition: acrylate copolymer solution with basic pigment affinity group
Solvent: propylene glycol methyl ether acetate
Additive dosage: 5 - 10% inorganic pigment
15 - 30% organic pigment
5 - 8% titanium dioxide
25 - 40% carbon black
Typical physicochemical data: amine value: approx 36 mg KOH/g
Non volatile matter: 60%
