VOK ®- Disper 109 is a solvent-free wetting dispersant used for thermoplastic acrylic acid or alkyd resin paint systems from medium polarity to non-polar in solvent based systems to disperse inorganic pigments and improve the color paste acceptability in paints.

Storage and transportation
When stored or transported at a temperature lower than 10 ° C, stratification or turbidity may occur. Heat to 30-60 ° C and mix thoroughly before use.
Special reminder
Due to its high amine value, excessive addition may affect the drying performance of alkyd resin. Application field Characteristics and advantages of coating industry Use VOK ®- Disper 109 can significantly improve the color paste acceptance of thermoplastic acrylic and alkyd resin paint systems from medium polarity to non-polar. VOK ®- Disper 109 can also be added to the paint system later, but it needs to be added to the base paint before the color paste is added. VOK ®- Disper 109 can also be used to disperse inorganic pigments (titanium dioxide and filler) in thermoplastic acrylic and alkyd resin paint systems.
Recommended dosage
1-2% additives (purchased form) are based on titanium dioxide. When added later to improve the color paste acceptability: 0.3-1% additives (purchased form) are based on the general formula.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
In order to obtain good performance, additives must be added to the grinding material first, and then the pigment. Premix the resin and solvent components in the abrasive, and then slowly add the auxiliary agent in the state of continuous stirring. Do not add pigments when the auxiliaries have not been completely dispersed evenly. In order to improve the color paste acceptability, the additive can also be added to the paint later.
Special reminder
When the additive amount reaches 1% or more (based on the total formula), its influence on drying performance and yellowing trend must be tested.
