Features and advantages

VOK ®- Disper 2055 is a high molecular weight wetting and dispersing agent with 100% solid content. It is liquid and has good operating viscosity. VOK ®- Disper 2055 can be used in different polar systems, from low polar solvent based systems, including air dried alkyd, alkyd/amino, nitrocellulose, two-component polyurethane, acrylic acid/amino and UV curing coatings, to water-based systems. It can be used for grinding with or without resin in solvent based systems, and the results of grinding without resin in water-based formulations are more ideal. VOK ®- Disper 2055 is a good additive for co grinding - that is, grinding different pigments in the abrasive at the same time. It is also suitable for pigment concentrate slurry. Use VOK ®- Disper 2055 can produce pigment concentrate with or without base material, which can be applied to both water-based and solvent based coatings. VOK ®- Disper 2055 can stabilize inorganic pigments, including titanium dioxide and transparent iron oxide, organic pigments, carbon black, effective pigments, fillers and matting powder. VOK ®- Disper 2055 has no negative effect on the adhesion (even if directly applied on the metal substrate), water resistance, chemical resistance, hardness and yellowing resistance of the coating. VOK ®- Dispatch 2055 has excellent cost performance.

Recommended dosage

The amount of additives (purchase form) is based on:

Inorganic pigment: 8-12%

Titanium dioxide: 2-3%

Organic pigment: 10-35%

Carbon black: 15-80%

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

The wetting and dispersing agent should be added to the abrasive, and the pigment can only be added after the auxiliary agent is completely and evenly dispersed, so as to maximize the role of the auxiliary agent.
