Features and Benefits

The additive can deflocculate the pigment by stabilizing the steric hindrance. VOK ®- Dispatch 102 is mainly recommended for using VOK ®- Disper 185. It can reduce viscosity and improve coloring strength. It can be used as a post additive in solvent based and water-based systems to improve the dyeing strength and color paste acceptability.

Recommended dosage

The amount of additives (purchased form) is based on the pigment.

Inorganic pigment: 5-10%

Titanium dioxide: 1-3%

When added later to improve the color paste acceptability: 0.5-2% additives (purchased form) are based on the general formula.

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

In order to obtain good performance, additives must be added to the grinding material first, and then the pigment. Premix the resin and solvent components in the abrasive, and then slowly add the auxiliary agent in the state of continuous stirring. Do not add pigments when the auxiliaries have not been completely dispersed evenly. In order to improve the color paste acceptability, the additive can also be added to the paint later.
