The nuclear densitometer has been the most widely used method for measuring the density of geomaterials all over the world in the past forty years, because it has the advantages of accuracy, speed, economy and nondestructive testing that other testing methods do not have. Although nuclear devices are very safe to use and have never been hazardous to operators, because nuclear devices use isotope sources, and because of radiation concerns, many people want to obtain a means of accurately and quickly performing density and moisture tests without the use of isotopes, namely, nuclear-free technology. In the past three decades, dozens of nuclear-free density and humidity detection technologies have been commerciated, such as GeoGauge, EDG, PT and PQI in the past few years, each of which was called nuclear-free densitometer when it came out, and announced that it could replace the nuclear densitometer. So the concept of nucleeless densitometer represents different endogenies at different times.


The LRK-WH801 Soil densitometer uses high-frequency radio waves to measure the dielectric properties and density of compacting soil. In essence, high-frequency electromagnetic waves are measured in the same way as gamma rays. , only using high frequency electromagnetic wave is more secure, when electromagnetic wave through the soil, due to soil compaction degree of different, further affect the electromagnetic wave, electromagnetic wave that is through the soil, its will be affected by the corresponding phase and amplitude, and then we through comparing the standard attenuation parameter of soil module, can calculate the measured soil sample was wet Density and moisture content.


We use digital frequency synthesis (DDS) to ensure high precision wireless frequencies, and then measure the electromagnetic wave parameters between the steel pins inserted into the soil point-to-point to produce accurate measurements.


The specific measurement principle of LRK-WH801 is to measure the dielectric property and density of the compactified soil material through the radio high frequency between the electrodes, and compare the measured dielectric property with the "soil module". Mathematical algorithms are used to calculate dry/wet density, water content, and percentage compaction. The accompanying temperature detector can also increase the accuracy of the measurement.


1. Scope of application of soil non-nuclear density meter:


1). Excavation and backfilling construction;

Mainly suitable for clay and non-cohesive soil, can also be applied to lime or cement modified soil, gravel soil and other soil.


2. The following soil types are not suitable for measurement


1). In soils with high humus content, humus content is greater than 20%(V/V).


2). RCC.


3). The diameter of the vast majority of the soil (>=30%V/V) aggregate is greater than 15mm.


Note: If the diameter of aggregate is too large in the measurement of gravel soil, the accuracy of measurement may decrease. It needs to be confirmed and negotiated with the customer
