
TD225-1 ROCK point LOAD TESTER IS A KIND OF INSTRUMENT USED FOR ROCK point LOAD test AND determination of rock point load strength index. Foreign standards refer to ASTM D5731. According to the point load strength index of rock, the uniaxial compressive strength of rock can be calculated and determined, the anisotropy of rock can be determined (i.e. the ratio of large and small values of different load strengths), the weathering zone can be determined, the drilling speed can be estimated, and the rock can be graded, etc.
TD225-1 ROCK point LOAD TESTER IS A KIND OF INSTRUMENT SUITABLE FOR CONSTRUCTION site. Point load testing has low requirements on the preparation of rock samples, which can be core samples for engineering exploration or irregular samples with slight modification. The sample preparation does not need special mechanical processing, compared with the conventional test, has the characteristics of fast test speed, short test cycle, simple method and low cost. It can be widely used in the field tests of geological, mining, hydropower, railway and traffic construction projects. Rock point load test was officially listed as one of the methods for determining rock strength by the Test Methods Committee of the Society of Rock Mechanics in 1972, and was revised by the test Methods Committee of the Society of Rock Mechanics in 1985. Load strength of rock point has been widely used in our national standards and many departmental codes.
