I. Product Description

3500/34 belongs to the BTL 3500 series TSI turbine safety monitoring system TMR triple-module redundant safety relay output module. The hardware part number is 125696-01. It is specially designed for the safety trip interlock of the unit. It adopts a three-out-of-two voting redundant architecture and can be associated with dangerous alarm signals such as vibration, axial displacement, differential expansion, and overspeed. It outputs passive relay contacts to drive the ETS trip circuit of the unit, eliminating the possibility of false tripping or refusal to trip due to a single point of hardware failure, meeting the safety SIL level specifications of power plants, and supporting online hot plugging of racks. It is a key safety protection spare part for large steam turbines and gas turbines.

Product Performance

Triple redundant TMR three-out-of-two voting architecture: A single relay failure or drive circuit failure will not trigger a false trip. Only when two or more are triggered simultaneously will the protection instruction be output, significantly improving the reliability of the unit's trip circuit and avoiding unplanned shutdown risks.

Supports flexible logic configuration, can be bound to any warning/danger alarm signals from vibration, displacement, speed, and temperature monitoring channels to achieve multi-point interlock trip and single-point over-limit protection output.

Built-in hardware circuit self-check function, real-time monitoring of the status of the three relays and backplane communication failures, when abnormal, the panel fault light alarms and uploads system event records, facilitating the early detection of potential hazards.

Relay contacts with surge absorption protection, suitable for ETS solenoid valves, trip relays, etc., which sense inductive loads, suppressing reverse voltage breakdown of contacts during switching.

Can be configured in dual-module redundant mode, two TMR modules serve as backups for each other, forming the highest level unit safety protection interlock circuit.

Downward compatible with the entire series of 3500 monitoring modules, old TSI systems can be directly replaced without modifying the cabinet wiring and configuration logic.
