Bently Nevada 3500/42M Product Description
3500/42M is a four-channel speed-type vibration monitoring module of the Bently 3500 series TSI system, used to receive signals from magnetic-electric, piezoelectric speed sensors or acceleration sensors. It is mainly used to monitor the absolute vibration of bearing housings and the vibration of the machine shell. It can measure the amplitude of normal frequency vibration and filtered amplitude, supports two-level alarm settings, can be linked with relay modules to achieve safe interlock shutdown of the equipment, can output buffer signals for on-site calibration and fault diagnosis, supports hot-swappable rack, complies with API670 rotating machinery protection specifications, and is often used in combination with the 3500/40M eddy current displacement module.

Product Performance
Built-in integration operation function, can directly connect to acceleration sensors, automatically convert into vibration velocity values, without the need for external integration preamplifier, more flexible on-site wiring and equipment selection.
Supports narrowband filtering function, can extract 1x frequency and 2x frequency vibration components, used for fault analysis and diagnosis of bearing faults, rotor imbalance, misalignment, etc.
Has self-check function for sensor breakage and signal over-limit faults, triggers fault alarm immediately when sensor circuit is abnormal, preventing protection from malfunction or false operation.
Each channel is equipped with BNC buffered output interface, can be externally connected to oscilloscopes, data acquisition instruments, convenient for on-site circuit calibration, vibration waveform capture and accident traceability analysis.
Supports channel bypass function, when conducting single-channel maintenance, can temporarily shield the alarm of this channel, without affecting the normal monitoring and interlock protection of the other three channels.
Monitoring data can be uploaded to DCS, SIS and System 1 status monitoring software through the rack communication module, achieving vibration trend analysis, fault warning, historical data storage.
Can be combined with the 3500/34 TMR triple redundant relay module to achieve ETS emergency trip protection for bearing seat vibration exceeding limits.
