The series capacitor consists of several parts, such as core, shell and outlet porcelain sleeve. Each side of the box wall is welded with a hanger for installation, and one side is equipped with a grounding bolt. The core of a capacitor consists of several components and insulators. To accommodate various voltages, the core is connected in series by connecting several small components in parallel. The capacitor is equipped with inner discharge resistor and the shell is welded by stainless steel plate.

 

High voltage series capacitors are connected in series to 50Hz or 60Hz AC power systems to compensate the inductance of power lines, reduce voltage landing, increase transmission capacity and improve line stability.

4. Loss tangent value (tanδ) :≤ 0.0003.

5. Phase: single phase.

6. Insulation level: 42/75kV, 50/125kV.

7. Discharge resistance: the capacitor is equipped with inner discharge resistor. After disconnecting from the power grid, the voltage on the terminals can be reduced to below 75V within 10 minutes.

9. Capacitance tolerance: -3% ~ +5%.

10. Protection: internal fuse or no fuse.

 

Conditions of use

1. Indoor& outdoor.

2. The installation site is generally not more than 2000 meters above sea level.

3. Temperature class: -40/b, pollution level: 1V.

4. There is no gases or vapors that are severely corrosive to metals.

5. No strong mechanical vibration.

6. No explosive, inflammable or dangerous material.
