This liquid limit apparatus follows the CASAGRANDE method to determine the soil moisture content, it determines the moisture content at which clay soils pass from a plastic to a liquid state. It’s comprised of soil disc and holder, and equipped with specialized scraper, the base is made of hard rubber. this apparatus is suitable for the particle size no larger than 0.5mm, organic matter no higher than 5% by mass.
