New pneumatic tooth brake used in manipulator arm
This CBM pneumatic tooth brake is popular used in mechanical joint part for braking. As it is joint part, it can't bear much load, so brake lighter will be better. Considering this character, our Handong make an update of this brake, we changed steel material to space aluminum material, reduce its weight while increase its working function.
CBM Air shaft normal braking tooth brake is also a type of spring applied air release brake. It is braked via springs, and released via inputting air pressure. With this character, so this spring engagement brake is usually used in mechanical arm, robot joint or arthrosis for joint part braking.
CBM tooth and tooth brake working thoery is similar with HABB spring engagement brake. Normally, braking springs compressed piston end tooth and hollow shaft tube end tooth, brake is in braking status. After supplying air pressure, piston moves towards to and compresses braking springs in the direction of fixed base spline, both ends of tooth separated, brake released.
