Machine Summary
Based on the principle of henerating method, and with carrying out index and differential compensation motions by electronic gear box(EGB), the machine is designed to cut cylindrical spur & helical gears, crowning or slightly tapered gears, worm wheels, splines, etc. This machine is specially suited for the industries such as motorcycle, mini-bus, car, etc. to produce gears in mass production.

1. The machine is of 6 axes with four axes coordinated control. CNC axes;
- A-axis--hob head swivel;
- B-axis--spindle ratation;
- C-axis--worktable rotation;
- X-axis--radial feed motion;
- Y-axis--tangential feed motion(hob shifting);
- Z-axis--axial feed motion;
- Four coordinated control axes: B, C, X and Z(or B, C, Y and Z)
2. In case of power off or fault occurred, the column will quickly retract. The fault number will automatically display on the screen.
3. With vertical design, the column can move in radial direction as feed motion.
4. With symmetric and double wall construction of machine bed, circulating coolant can ensure stable thermal distribution of the machine.
5. The spindle is driven by a large power servo motor through 2 stage super precision helical gearing, and a one tooth difference clearance-eliminating mechanism at the terminal. The quick-change hob and automatic hob holder clamping devices are equipped with. Auto. spindle overload monitoring & alarm device is available .
6. New powerful pulling hob system is designed to greatly improve rigidity of the spindle.
7. Super precision helical gearing is adopted for the worktable to carry out high speed and super precision indexing. The machine is equipped with clearance-eliminating and damp adjusting mechanism.
8. Powerful input of circulating lubricant and compressed air ensure good cutting performance of the machine, tool and fixture, etc.
9. Separated hydraulic and lubrication systems.
10. Equipped with hob, fixture and program quick change over system to carry out different kinds of the workpieces quick-change.
GHS-180CNC5
1. The machine is of 5 axes with four axes coordinated control. Its CNC axes:
- B-axis--hob spindle rotary motion;
- C-axis--worktable rotary motion;
- X-axis--radial feed motion;
- Y-axis--tangential feed motion(or hob shifting motion);
- Z-axis--axial feed motion;
2. Four coordinated control axes: B,C,X and Z.
3. Carry out index and differential compensation motions by electronic gear box(EGB);
4. Cut the workpiece by multi-start & high speed hob;
5. Fault diagnostics functions;
6. Quick retraction protection: in case of power off or failure occurred, synchronously and quickly retract hob to avoid collision;
7. With function of monitoring spindle overload and alarm, The qucik- change hob and automatic hob holder clamping devices are equipped.
8. Compact design, small floor area, man friendly construction and easy operation;
9. With double-wall, rib-reinforced and symmetric construction design for bed and column, it can increase rigidity of the machine and meet the requirements of machine at high speed and efficient cutting and ensure stable thermal distribution. Adopt large power AC spindle motor, power is transferred to cutter spindle by high precision helical gearing. Adopt a one-tooth difference clearance-eliminating mechanism to improve transmission accuracy and rigidity;
10. Super precision helical gearing for worktable to carry out high speed and super precision index;
11. Powerful input of lubricating oil and compressed air ensure good cutting performance of the machine, tool and fixture, etc;
12. Parameter programming;
13. Finish machining accuracy is up to grade 7 of the Chinese standard GB/T10095.1-2008.
