1. Product Description

The Rotary Dryer for Lead Zinc Concentrate Drying Plant is specialized drying equipment developed for continuous dehydration of mixed lead-zinc concentrate in mineral processing plants. Lead zinc concentrate has fine particle size, slight viscosity and certain abrasiveness. Unstable moisture content will negatively affect subsequent smelting, roasting and refining workflows. This rotary dryer adopts thickened wear-resistant cylinder shell, reinforced anti-caking lifting plates, stable heating system and intelligent monitoring module. It can steadily remove surface and internal moisture of wet lead zinc concentrate, maintain consistent material moisture index, and support long-term continuous heavy-load operation. It is indispensable supporting equipment for lead zinc concentrate drying and smelting projects.

2. Working Principle

This rotary dryer for lead zinc concentrate adopts gradient countercurrent circulating heat exchange and continuous dehydration principle. Wet lead zinc concentrate is quantitatively and continuously fed into the rotary drum through the feeding system. The anti-caking and wear-resistant lifting plates repeatedly lift, overturn and scatter fine concentrate materials to prevent agglomeration and wall adhesion, forming a uniform material curtain to enable full contact between lead zinc concentrate particles and hot air. Stable hot air flows countercurrently inside the drum for progressive heat exchange to evaporate moisture gradually. The PLC intelligent system monitors drum temperature, air volume and outlet concentrate moisture in real time, and automatically adjusts feeding speed and heat supply to maintain stable drying quality. Exhaust gas and fine lead-zinc dust are collected and purified by the sealed dust removal system to meet environmental emission standards. Qualified dried lead zinc concentrate is continuously discharged for subsequent smelting and roasting processes.
